How many job sources does LiftedCV search?
Over 20. This includes major job boards, remote-first platforms like WeWorkRemotely and Himalayas, tech-focused boards like Hacker News Jobs, and direct career pages from Fortune 500 and top 500 IT companies. All sources are searched in parallel so results come back fast.
What is the cross-reference engine?
When the same job appears on multiple platforms, our engine merges the duplicates into a single listing. More importantly, it flags positions that appear on only one source. These exclusive listings are easy to miss when searching sites individually, but they often have less competition.
Which ATS platforms does LiftedCV detect?
We detect seven major Applicant Tracking Systems: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters, iCIMS, and Taleo. When we identify a company's ATS, we format your resume to match that system's parsing rules.
Can I upload my existing resume?
Yes. Upload a PDF or DOCX file and our AI parser automatically extracts your skills, experience, education, and certifications. You can also create a new resume from scratch using our guided editor.
How does AI resume tailoring work?

Is there a free trial?
The Free tier is permanent -- there is no time limit. You can search jobs, upload a resume, and use 3 AI rewrites per month at no cost for as long as you want. Upgrade to Pro or Premium when you are ready for unlimited features.
Can I maintain multiple resume versions?
Yes. Pro and Premium users can create and store unlimited resume versions optimized for different roles, industries, or companies. Free users can maintain one resume.
What salary research tools are available?
Our salary intelligence feature provides market rate data for any role and location. Use it to benchmark offers, understand compensation trends, and negotiate with confidence backed by real data.
What export formats are supported?
Free users can download resumes in PDF. Pro users get PDF and DOCX. Premium users have access to all formats.
How is my data protected?
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using AWS infrastructure. We never sell your personal information or share your resumes with third parties. Your career data stays yours.
