1. Platform Copyright
The Lifted CV platform, including its software, source code, algorithms, user interface design, resume templates, visual elements, documentation, marketing materials, and all associated content, is the exclusive intellectual property of KrisCodes2 LLC and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
The "Lifted CV" name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of KrisCodes2 LLC. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent, except as reasonably necessary to identify the Service in fair, non-misleading commentary.
2. Your Content -- Ownership and License
2.1 You Own Your Content
You retain full ownership of all resume content, professional information, and other original materials you create or upload to Lifted CV ("Your Content"). Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of Your Content to us.
2.2 License You Grant Us
By using the Service, you grant KrisCodes2 LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, display, reproduce, and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the Service. This license does not grant us the right to:
- Sell or distribute Your Content to third parties
- Use Your Content for advertising or promotional purposes without your consent
- Train AI or machine learning models on Your Content without your explicit, separate consent
- Share Your Content with employers or recruiters without your explicit direction
2.3 License Termination
The license to Your Content terminates when you delete Your Content or your account, subject to: (a) backup retention periods (up to 90 days after deletion); and (b) legal obligations requiring us to retain certain records.
3. Resume Templates
Resume templates provided by Lifted CV are our copyrighted works. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our templates to create resume documents for your personal job search purposes. You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense our templates
- Remove copyright or attribution notices from templates
- Claim authorship or ownership of our template designs
- Use our templates to create a competing service
4. Content Use Restrictions
Unless expressly authorized in writing by KrisCodes2 LLC, you may not:
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service or its content for commercial purposes.
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Service or its content.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data or content from the Service.
- Frame, mirror, or embed the Service or any part of it on another website or application.
- Use the Service content (including job listings, salary data, or AI-generated suggestions) to train AI or machine learning models.
5. DMCA Copyright Infringement Policy
KrisCodes2 LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content hosted on our Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent.
5.1 Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
A valid DMCA takedown notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to locate it (such as a URL).
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

5.3 Counter-Notice
If you believe that content you posted was removed in error due to a mistaken DMCA claim, you may file a counter-notice with our designated agent. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district (or in the District of Delaware if you are outside the United States).
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the removed content within 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
5.4 Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyrighted material. We reserve the right to terminate any account at our sole discretion.
6. User-Generated Content Standards
When you create or upload content to Lifted CV, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the content or have the necessary rights and permissions to use it.
- The content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights.
- The content is accurate and not misleading (including resume information such as employment history, education, and qualifications).
- The content does not contain any material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
- The content does not contain viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
7. Third-Party Content
The Service aggregates job listings, salary data, and other information from third-party sources. This third-party content is the property of its respective owners and is displayed for informational purposes only. KrisCodes2 LLC does not claim ownership of third-party content. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names of third parties appearing in the Service are the property of their respective owners.
8. Fair Use
Nothing in this Copyright Notice is intended to limit any rights you may have under the fair use doctrine (17 U.S.C. § 107) or other limitations and exceptions to copyright under applicable law.
